"Our company has the ambition that all its activities have a minimum impact on the environment. Also our largest renovation in the history of our company in 2018 has been executive in a very sustainable approach, we have replaced more than 40.000m2 of asbestos roofing with high quality insulation material including solar panels which generate electricity for Houweling and surrounding companies. During the realization of our warehouse and with that our loading docks, we have purposely invested in the sustainable Lenflex dock bumper in line with our sustainability strategy. These sustainable dock bumpers are initially a slight higher investment compared to the regular dock bumpers, however the Lenflex dock bumper has a substantial longer life cycle than the conventional dock bumpers. Therefore we will replace in the future all our dock bumpers with the LENFLEX dock bumpers."
